Yamato, also known as Oni Princess, is a significant character of One Piece who first appeared in the Wano Country Arc. After his death, Yamato chose to “become” Oden, impersonating him and adopting his mannerisms.

It is just a theory, but Yamato ate a Mythical Zoan Class Devil Fruit known as the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami, which allows her to willingly transform into a hybrid or complete form of the wolf deity described as being the Guardian Deity of Wano. This fruit makes its user a Celestial Dragon which means that they have a lot of abilities and can do anything if they take action seriously. She became interested in one special fruit which gives you unique abilities, and this fruit belongs only to the strongest types of animals in the One Piece world. At first, she planned to learn the same power from him but later on decided that she wanted to have different abilities. Yamato is a big follower of Kozuki Oden, who can create exploding objects. But some people still think she is a man because there is not much information about her except gender pronouns. So from my point of view, Yamato is a woman (not transgender but female). He is not male, but she acts like a male because she wants to be strong, and that’s all. Therefore, the character was introduced as male but is consistently called by he/him pronouns. Historically, the majority of fans believed that Yamato was a transgender character in the One Piece universe. Many people say that Yamato is more powerful than her father after time-skip to become one of the strongest Yonko in the One Piece world someday. This weakness makes her very weak because she cannot fight against all of the Strawhat members at once. But her main weakness is that even though she can summon a giant monster, she cannot control it yet. She can fight against all Strawhat members at once (which means she has superior strength to Luffy). Yonko is the best of them all and has great power. Yonko is listed as one of the “seven warlords” (Shichibukai in Japanese) who greatly influence the One Piece world. Unfortunately, we have seen only four of them so far, but there are still some other members we need to see yet. Yamato is one of the Four Emperors sons who are called Yonko in One Piece.
